Made from cellulose-based material, the organic absorbent (peat moss) is an easy-to-apply, non-toxic, and hydrophobic product designed for the efficient absorption of oil and hydrocarbon derivatives.
This is a 100% nationally manufactured product that can be used in mangroves and contaminated soils, providing a practical solution for spills and leaks. Since it does not absorb water, it is an excellent alternative to sawdust and sand in oil containment and absorption operations.
It has an absorption capacity of up to 5 liters per kilogram and does not require specialized labor for application. After use, disposal as Class I hazardous waste is recommended, in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
